Audience: Novice and experienced backhoe operators
Course length: 2-2½ hours
With today's liability issues, it is no longer acceptable just to train heavy equipment operators in the mechanics of operating the machine - i.e. how to manipulate the controls and choose the right digging attachments. Too much is at stake. Operators must also learn applicable safety measures - but not from a co-worker who may already have developed poor safety habits, or from the learn-as-you-go, trial-by-error method of training.
COACHING THE BACKHOE OPERATOR™ can help standardize both your experienced and novice operators' understanding of safe operating procedures. The two-hour program-which is designed in a non-lecture, structured discussion format can be easily implemented by your instructor.
